Our Power, Our Planet

Big Bend’s Morning Light

Happy Earth Day 2025! The post’s title is this year’s theme: Our Power, Our Planet. This marks the 55th anniversary of Earth Day.

As we were leaving Big Bend National Park a couple of years ago, we experienced a beautiful glow and haze on the horizon. It was not the first time we had experienced that. The morning light at Big Bend is always magical.

That is the story behind the shot. If you liked this post, you may also be interested in other posts featuring Big Bend NP, Landscapes, National Parks, Sunrises, and Texas. Until the next time, keep clicking and capturing the beauty your eyes find.

I haven’t been able to comment on your posts, Egidio. Your posts show up in my WP feed as “someone!” This is a lovely post about Earth Day with spectacular views. I also posted for Earth Day via Sunday Stills. If you can share your link, please do.

Hi, Terri. WP has been acting up all week. I’ve seen some posts in the Reader without a comment box. I heard the same from other users about my own posts. The Lens-Artists team has been chatting about those glitches, too. I went ahead and added a link from my post to your post. I shared my link on your Sunday post, too.
