After the Rain…

After the Rain

After so much rain in our area this week, when the skies cleared, I took advantage of the perfect weather to bike in one of my favorite new trails, Brushy Creek Trail East. Watching Brushy Creek flowing strongly was my reward. I stopped a few times along the trail to enjoy the soothing sounds of the creek and watch the wildlife on its shore.

These two images were captured with my Samsung S23 phone using RAW settings. I’ve been using RAW settings on the phone to take advantage of Adaptive Color settings in Lightroom. Adaptive Color is the first thing I use now when importing a RAW photo to my catalog. It does a fantastic job in color adjustments and vibrance.

That is the story behind the shots. If you liked this post, you might also be interested in others featuring Brushy Creek, Brushy Creek Regional Trail, Cellpic Sunday, Landscapes, Round Rock, and Texas. Until the next time, keep clicking and capturing the beauty your eyes find.

When I have time to get the phone set to Pro mode and maybe set shutter speed or f/stop, I like to use Pro mode on my S23. It’s especially useful now that Anthony Morganti taught me how to use Adaptive Color in Lightroom Classic.

The new adaptive color feature in Lightroom is awesome. Been going through my collection and applying it to some older photos. What a difference it makes.

I’ve added it to automatically apply the Adaptive Color profile as I import new photos to my catalog.
