Today’s forecast looked alarming and included a tornado warning all day. Fortunately, there were no tornadoes reported in and around our area. However, we did get plenty of rain and some early fog. During a short break from the rain, I captured these two images showing the beauty of pastel colors in the pond behind our deck. At the time of this writing, we have received two and a half inches (63 mm) of rain this morning. The fog and mist added to the soft pastel hues in both shots.

That is the story behind the shots. If you liked this post, you might also be interested in others featuring Landscapes, Round Rock, Sunday Stills, Teravista, and Texas. Until the next time, keep clicking and capturing the beauty your eyes find.

Thanks, Margaret.

Lovely image and a lot of rain. That is similar to what we had toward the end of winter and into Spring here. I’m glad there was no tornado.

Thanks, Anne. Also, there was no hail. Last week, during another storm, there was plenty of hail (1-in diameter).

Definitely a LOT of rain, but thankfully no tornados! Your misty morning pastel shots are stunning, Egidio! Hope all is still well there.

Lovely pastels.
That sounds like a lot of rain to me. Stay safe and dry. 🙂

Thanks, Vicki. Yes, it was a lot of rain for one day. We needed the rain, though. Luckily, the sun came out in the afternoon.
