Every time I go to this restaurant near our house, I stop to admire this old carriage by the restaurant’s entrance. I like its setting and how dilapidated the carriage looks. My only problem is that I do not want to include the cars around in the parking lot. Today, after brunch, I walked around the carriage and found a couple of compositions that were ok with me. In the featured photo, you may still see cars on the right edge of the image, but they are not distracting. Here are the other two photos I captured using my Samsung S23.

In the first (monotone) image, I never even saw the cars until you mentioned them 😀
I like the middle shot the best. It shows more of the wagon’s details

Thanks, Vicki. It was hard to get shots with the cars in the lot.

As Vicki noted, the cars in the black-and-white are hard to see. If you hadn’t mentioned it, they would have not been noticed. 🙂
That’s a nice antique subject, Egidio!

I agree about the cars. The monochrome helped hide them well. Thanks for the feedback.

Great subject Egidio. I agree with Viki totally.

Thanks, Anne. The monochrome choice was a last minute decision. I was so glad it hid the cars better.

What a fun prop for the restaurant. You did a good job of masking the cars.

Thanks for the feedback, Brad. And the food there is really good!

Nice. What kind of food?

It is Tex-Mex. So far, it’s my favorite Tex-Mex in this area (just 1 1/4 mile from home). They have lots of vegetarian entrees. The weekend brunch menu is wonderful, too.

Thanks. It sounds yummy!
