— I am not sure whether it is the mountains, the lakes, or the rivers and creeks, but Colorado scenery is breathtaking. On our hike to Alberta Falls at Rocky Mountain NP, we crossed Glacier Creek a couple of times. Each time we simply had to stop and admire the beauty of this creek. The calming sound of the water running through those rocks coupled with the beginning of fall colors were very soothing to all senses. The minor elevation gain on this trail, 200 feet (61 m), made it a dream to explore. As the creek ascends on our way to Alberta Falls, the views only get better with each step.
