Walking around Austin can often result in finding hidden gems in the cityscape. The opportunities are varied and revealing, with many buildings using mirror exteriors. The image above reflects old power plant stacks opposite the Austin Public Library building. Below, I share three other mirror reflections, including a selfie.

And yes, the Museum of Ice Cream has plenty of mirror fun inside — not to mention unlimited ice cream for its visitors.
That is the story behind the shots. Lovely collection of reflections in windows. Are the middle two street level views?

Oh wow. These are fabulous – and fun. No, I really can’t pick a favouite. But I’d like to visit the ice cream museum!
Egidio Leitao
Thanks, Margaret. I probably need to go back to the ice cream museum. i’ll probably wait until it warms up more.

I love these distorted reflections, especially the history museum. And the Museum of Ice Cream sounds like fun!
Egidio Leitao
Thanks, Sarah. The other two reflections are on the bizarre side.

These building reflections are awesome Egidio!
Egidio Leitao
Thanks, Anne. A couple of them looked very bizarre to my eyes. The history museum was more like your traditional reflection.
