On the last day of March, I went on a bike ride to check out spring wildflowers on the Georgetown side of Teravista. I got more than I had anticipated. Here are a few of the wildflowers I saw on my ride.
Although Bluebonnet fields are not very extensive this year, I was still able to find some small patches. Even better was to see a lone Indian Paintbrush surrounded by Bluebonnets.

I like it when I see small patches of wildflowers. That gives me a chance to appreciate the beauty of each flower.
The beautiful blooms of the Texas Red Yucca are all over our area. That yucca gives out tiny yellow and pink flowers.

Finally, one cannot miss the beauty of Pink Evening Primroses (aka Pink Ladies). Behind our house, the field is covered with these beauties.
All photos were captured with my Samsung S23 phone. That is the story behind the shots. Fabulous, Egidio! And enough gorgeous purples to link to my purple color challenge it you’re so inclined. I love the bluebonnets! The closest flower we have to those are Alpine Lupin which begin blooming in May 💙💜

A wonderful display of wildflowers! That lone Indian Paintbrush surrounded by Bluebonnets really catches the eye but I also love the more delicate Evening Primrose 🙂

Sarah, the paintbrush stood out for me, too. As for the primroses, I can’t get enough of them. Behind our backyard, the field is full of them. I keep going out and photographing different scenes.

Beautiful spring flowers, Egidio! Spring is colorful in Arizona, but not with this kind of variety!

Thanks, John. People in Texas go crazy about Bluebonnets, but these other flowers are so beautiful.
