We are under a “false spring” in Texas right now. This week, the weather has been very warm for this time of the year: upper 70s and low 80s (between 23-28ºC). Next week, winter should return.
This shot was captured near our old house at the Copperfield Nature Trail. My perseverance in sitting and waiting paid off as the bee landed dead center on this Indian Blanket (also known as Firewheel). Of course, there were Bluebonnets around, but this stood out. The bee found its treasure, and so did I with this photo.
That is the story behind the shot. Until the next time, keep clicking and capturing the beauty your eyes find.
