The Lens-Artists Challenges

A graphic showcasing six photography categories: architecture, macro, wildlife, street, and monochrome, set against a twilight background with cameras and a water body.

To fill the void created with the end of the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge, four photographers — Tina, Patti, Ann-Christine, and Amy — started the Lens-Artists Challenge in 2018. The first challenge appeared on July 7 of that year.

The Lens-Artists team is a group of photographers from around the globe. We are dedicated to photography, both as an art and for fun. Weekly challenges appear on Saturdays at 12:00 noon EST (or UTC -05:00).

We encourage viewers to participate in our Lens-Artists Challenges, and it’s not difficult to do so. Each week, a team member posts a challenge. Viewers and followers can then respond with their challenge post, linking to the team member’s post and using the Lens-Artists tag.  The original challenge and responses appear in the Lens-Artists section of the WordPress Reader. Leave a comment on the host’s original challenge post, and make sure to use the hashtag #lens-artists. We look forward to your joining our challenges.

The best way not to miss any posts from the Lens-Artists team is to follow each person’s blog directly. Here are the links to the current members’ websites:

I thank the Lens-Artists team for inviting me to join them starting January 2024. I also thank Tina, John, and Anne for their assistance in editing this page’s information.
