There is nothing like having a fresh playground to bike, hike, and photograph. Although I was familiar with San Gabriel Park in Georgetown, Texas, I had never explored the far east side of the park. In fact, I did not know there were any trails after what appeared to be the end of the park. However, a biking buddy recently introduced me to that area.
The trail is easy, with just a couple of short rocky areas. One could do it on a gravel bike and dismount in those two areas. Katy Crossing is a two-mile (3.2 km) winding loop created by bikers and used by hikers, too. It runs right by the San Gabriel River. Expect to see plenty of wildlife in and around the river. You can extend the trail by doing the Pirate’s Booty addition if you want more scenery. That section is also easy.
This photo is the view as I approached the section where Katy Crossing curves to loop back. That railroad bridge is an old train track that was part of the Kansas Atchinson Topeka (KATY) railroad line. I like that view. It often brings me an impressionistic vibe with the brushes and trees and the San Gabriel River. So, I edited the photo the usual way with two extra changes. First, I used a Cézanne filter in Topaz Studio to emphasize my vision and then wrapped up with a blur motion filter in the sky in Photoshop. The photo was captured on my Samsung S23.

I agree with Terri, Egidio. That looks very much like the Fair Oaks Bridge going over the American River here in Sacramento. I like the filters you put on the image to give it that dreamy look.
