I created another image yesterday during my quick walk at Mayfield Park & Nature Preserve. Looking at my preceding post, you will see what I photographed here. Some reeds were in a pond in the middle of the main yard. I thought the dappled light and reflections might create a good ICM. I experimented with the usual movements, e.g., horizontal, vertical, etc., but it was not until I tried zoom rotation that I was satisfied with my results. I tried both zooming in and out. The image I featured above is the result of zooming out. It created an interesting vortex effect.
After applying basic edits in Lightroom and Luminar Neo, I exported the image to Topaz Studio 2 and used a textured simulation of a sketch. That sketch texture added some white streaks throughout the entire image.
This is my entry to Kathleen’s December ICMPC #11. I encourage you to check out that link and see her entry and others in the post’s comments.

Very effective and a great composition for ICM.

When I saw the Thunknail, I was reminded of a crane flower. Very good effect.
